The tourists who come to the coast of Devon Ilfracombe, England, this time will find a different religious views than usual.

Not far from the Devon seaside resort, there is a bronze statue of a pregnant woman, now adorn the integrated resort area.

Sculpture called "The Belly Of The South" is the result of the work of Damien Steven Hirst, artist entrepreneurs and British art collector. This statue itself has a 65 feet high and weighing 25 tons.

Although the launch of the statue, many people awaited. But lately, the presence of the statue reap the pros and cons of the surrounding Devon coast. Because the statue of the pregnant woman, looks erotic and too vulgar.

Reporting from Dailymail, Thursday (11/10), many city residents say that the statue looks very salacious and disgusting.

"Why does it have to be made naked. Least statue pregnant woman can be made to the dress. Statue will encourage teenage pregnancies in this city," said the resident.

On the other hand most of the other residents said that the statue is very suitable for Ilfracombe town.

"The statue is suitable for Ilfracombe, where the family spent their holidays."

Some other people who agree on the statue says that the statue is a masterpiece sculpture art / art eccentricity attitude.

In the meantime, one of Ilfracombe town councilor said the statue would increase tourism and improve the image of the city.
